Reo Carr, Editor in Chief of the Daily Transcript kept to
his word and had Laura Mallgreen do an informative article
on Hearing U, Inc. in San Diego's Business Daily. Thank
You, Reo & Laura. As a result of this article Hearing U,
Inc. will be working with Tom Carter in creating the first
ever Deaf Community in North Park.

Spirit Magazine followed with a fabulous article to get the
word out how to protect your hearing and informed the
public that Terry Warren took the symbol to Washington, D.
C., where it is in process thru Congresswoman Diane Watson
and is to be presented to Congress to be approved as the
National Symbol for the Hearing Challenged - the deaf, the
hard of hearing and the people with tinnitus. Joining all
these people together.

Dee Stanford of the Christian Business Forum interviewed
our CEO, T. J. Barnes. Her first TV appearance was on July
14th and her next one will be on August 25th at 7:30 P.M.
on Channels 23 for Cox Views and 18 for Time Warner
Viewers. If you would like your own personal copy, please
let us know.

Hearing U was a finalist for the Multicultural Heritage
Awards 2004 presented by the San Diego Business Journal &
Wells Fargo Bank. Hearing U presented the case of hearing
issues being a diversity even though hearing has no
cultural boundaries.

T. J. met Deb Lambert of Scripps Hospital who received the
Winner of the Multicultural Award for Scripps.
Congratulations, Scripps Staff and Employees for a great
job. Scripts and Hearing U are entering into a business
relationship to improve the service offered to the hearing
challenged patient and family.

Last by not least - Publisher Patty Brooks of Presido
Sentinel published an article to address this issue of
hearing impairments and what can be done about it. As a
result owner, Jo Ann Wells of Beaucage taught the Hearing
Challenge System. Kristin Wells is a 22 year old that is
amongst the 60 out of every 1000 people who are affected
with a hearing loss at a young age due to a viral infection
and misdiagnoses by the doctor.
